Soapbox: Stations checking in reported Denver ARC swapfest at 8:30 Aug. 16 at Jeffco fairgrounds.  Band conditions towards Chad N0YK in SW Kansas were good; Chad’s 57 signals were about same as past.  Larry N0LL came in loud enough at 52 for me to take his check in directly.  Mike K7ULS in DN41 popped in 55 on enhancement about 8:50 pm loud enough to work W6OAL, K0MLM, and W0ETT.  Mike is also planning to work some meteor scatter during Perseids peak.
