Hear Ye, Hear Ye, a New 2304 Beacon

There is a new 2304 MHz beacon on the air as of 10:04 AM on 10-04-2014. And we want you to hear it and report what you hear. The beacon is on 2304.880 MHz and is located on the roof of NCAR in Boulder at DM79IX. It was built and installed by Don, N0YE, using a horizontally polarized Omni directional Wheel antenna designed and built by Dave, W6OAL. The ID is VVV WØBCR DM79IX. The output is on the order of 300 mW.  The beacon is being received in Parker Hylands (10 miles east of Parker) at W6OAL, Q5, S9, T9, a distance of 49.5 miles.
